Ride of the Month: Sid James Triathlon Practice Route πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

This month’s Ride of the Month is a special one. We are riding the practice route for the Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlon, proudly run by Pushing Limits Event Management.

We are proud sponsors of this event, and it is the biggest triathlon on the South Australian calendar. Every year it brings an incredible atmosphere to Victor Harbor, with race distances to suit everyone from first timers through to seasoned competitors. It is always a fantastic day for the whole family.

The practice route starts outside the GT Fisher Playground on the Victor Harbor foreshore. From there, it follows the esplanade along the coast up toward the Hindmarsh River before turning back and heading to the other end of the esplanade. The course then moves inland, following the Inman River for a smooth and flowing section.

This year’s updated course features very little elevation, making it flatter and faster compared to previous years. It is a great opportunity to test your legs, work on pacing, and get familiar with the course before race day. Whether you are racing or just want a solid flat ride, this one is perfect for building confidence.

After your ride, we recommend heading to the Hotel Crown for coffee or lunch. With plenty of outdoor seating and space to rest the legs, it is the ideal spot to refuel and catch up with your riding crew.

If you are training for the Sid James Triathlon, or just want to experience one of the best events on the SA calendar, give this route a go and tag your ride with #BVHRideOfTheMonth so we can follow your progress.
