Dt Swiss Rws 10 Mtb Titanium Rear Skewer 135 X 5mm

The DT Swiss RWS 10 MTB Titanium Rear Skewer is a lightweight and high performance wheel retention system designed for mountain bikes using a traditional 135 mm rear hub spacing and 5 mm skewer system. It combines DT Swiss RWS clamping technology with a titanium axle to deliver secure wheel retention with reduced weight.

Unlike a conventional quick release lever, the DT Swiss RWS system is tightened by turning the lever rather than using a cam. DT Swiss states that the RWS design delivers more than 5000 N of clamping force, providing a secure and precise connection between the rear wheel and frame. Once tightened, the lever can be lifted and repositioned to the preferred orientation.

This titanium rear version is designed for 135 mm MTB dropouts and uses a 5 mm RWS axle system. DT Swiss lists an overall length of 148 mm, a 22 mm thread length and an M5 x 0.8 thread. At just 47 g, it is a premium replacement or upgrade for compatible mountain bikes using standard quick release style rear dropouts.
