Fatboy Dna V3 En15194 Certified Electric Bike

The Fatboy DNA V3 is a compact electric bike designed for smaller riders, younger riders and anyone who wants the distinctive Fatboy riding experience in a lighter and easier to handle package. Its rigid frame, simple drivetrain and responsive handling make it particularly well suited to daily trips, relaxed cruising and riders getting comfortable with electric bikes.

The EN15194 version uses a 48V Bafang hub motor with 250W continuous rated power and a 48V 15Ah Samsung lithium ion battery. Electric assistance is limited to 25 km/h and the bike cannot be derestricted beyond that limit. Fatboy states that this model is built in line with EN15194:2017.

A simple Shimano single speed drivetrain keeps operation uncomplicated and reduces drivetrain maintenance. Fatboy's upgraded four piston brake system uses metal sintered pads with cooling fins and substantial 203 mm rotors measuring 2.9 mm thick, providing strong and controlled braking performance.

Practical equipment includes rear passenger footpegs, a rear cargo rack, puncture resistant tyres, a bright colour LCD display and a high output headlight with daytime running functionality. The compact proportions and two seat design make the DNA V3 an approachable and versatile addition to the Fatboy range.
