X-lab Mt2 Hardtail Mountain Bike

The X Lab MT2 is a lightweight hardtail mountain bike designed for riders looking for a capable and well equipped bike for trails, recreational mountain biking and everyday adventures. Built around an XDS X6 aluminium frame and weighing just 12.38 kg, the MT2 combines responsive handling with a modern 1 x 11 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes.

Up front, the Branta magnesium alloy suspension fork uses a coil spring with adjustable rebound and 120 mm of travel on the 29 inch model. This gives the MT2 the suspension travel needed to absorb bumps and maintain control across rough tracks and uneven terrain.

The 1 x 11 drivetrain features a Shimano CUES 11 speed rear derailleur paired with a wide range Sugek 11 to 46T cassette. A Branta aluminium crankset with a 34T narrow wide chainring keeps the drivetrain simple while providing a useful spread of gears for climbing, cruising and tackling changing terrain.

Branta C5 hydraulic disc brakes use two piston calipers with a 180 mm front rotor and 160 mm rear rotor for confident braking control. Branta aluminium XC wheels are paired with CST Serratus 29 x 2.25 tyres, providing a versatile setup for trails and recreational mountain biking.

Finished with Branta aluminium cockpit components and a Branta R200 saddle, the X Lab MT2 brings together a lightweight aluminium chassis, 11 speed Shimano CUES shifting and practical trail focused components in an accessible hardtail mountain bike.
